Model 733
Following the success of HPS-938, the HWS-733 is designed for
those who want to have the performance of HPS-938, but don’t
have the space for it. HWS-733 is equipped with the same drivers
as HPS-938 and other new features like new crossover. It is designed
with single cabinet front and back ported housing all drivers
with the woofer firing downward. HWS-733 is also designed to work
with Hyperion’s higher models for the home theater setup
with HPS-8C as the center channel. Finishes are available in the
standard colors of black piano gloss. |

Model 968
With S.V.F. and M.D.S., the newly designed 2nd generation midrange
driver is built with hard surround to further improve the performance
in terms of speed and clarity and Rear Pressure Reduce Device
(R.P.R.D.) to minimize the rear pressure reflection influence.
Utilizing only matching drivers with cabinets perfectly instead
of music killing capacitors, the new crossover design achieves
the extreme phase accuracy. No low frequency cut on midrange,
and all drivers are in 1st order arrangements.
2nd generation aluminum woofers for lower base extension to 25Hz.
Adjustable tilt angle for top cabinet in the effort of finding
the sweet spot (with laser pointer).
Top cabinet 3 point placement with bronze bearing spheres for
easy installation.
Room Reactance Control for adjusting treble in different room
condition.

Model 938
Hyperion's unique driver research has led to the cabinet design
for the first HPS 906 nearly a decade ago. The duo-cabinet design
was created for our full-range 3-way speaker HPS-938. HPS-938
design was completed in 2003, which includes all the features
of Hyperion speaker design. With a dedicated cabinet for the bass
and all the qualities of HPS-906, the HPS 938 simply has elevated
the HPS series to an astonishing new level. Two 8" S.V.F.
woofers are used instead of a larger size woofer for the bass
speed, resolution, coherence and impact. The New HPS-938 is our
answer to a new level of audio experience. |
