System 20 LCR

The InWall Theater System 20 LCR is our top of the line in-wall, THX Ultra™ certified speaker. It's comprised of sophisticated speakers whose lineage traces directly to our highly regarded System 370 THX. What's more, the System 20 LCR was developed as an element of a fully integrated home entertainment speaker system, created to provide exemplary movie and music reproduction. The 20 LCR blends perfectly with the matching 20e SR surrounds and with other Atlantic speakers, including our award winning center channels and subwoofers. The System 20 LCR's will effortlessly fill large rooms with amazingly natural sound.

The System 20 LCR is essentially an in-wall optimized version of our 371 LR satellite speaker. It delivers superior sound quality and dialogue intelligibility while becoming almost invisible in your room. It's arguably the first in-wall speaker (and certainly the most affordable) capable of competing with high-end enclosed systems. Its flexible mounting system, and its rotatable, tiltable D'Appolito array, lets it deliver optimum performance in practically any room.

System 10 LCR

Using no compromise components is the only the first part of the job. There are special considerations that must be addressed when designing in-wall speakers. Whereas box speakers can be moved away from the negative influences walls have on sound, in-wall speakers obviously can't. So our design process involved many more hours of computer design, testing, and listening sessions to develop ways of compensating for the surrounding wall's effect on the sound. One listen to the System 10 compared to other in-walls will prove the success of our efforts.

Developed for use with our highly regarded System 10 LCR, System 10e SR is also tonally matched to several Atlantic systems, including the System 170 and 270 THX. Its advanced drivers and sophisticated crossover networks deliver realistic and believable surround, no matter what the source.

Technical Highlights
The System 10e SR incorporates two 4.5 inch injected molded graphite woofers and two .75 inch neodymium tweeters, in angled flush mount in-wall baffle. These two sets of high quality drivers produce a broad, even response pattern. The reflective surfaces of the baffle are lined with special acoustic foam to reduce unwanted scattering of the sound. The crossover network is designed and uses top quality components, including air core chokes and low DA capacitors.

Benefits of TriMode operation:

Mono - The dual voice coil woofers and dual tweeters can be wired to produce a mono signal and then used in pairs for standard stereo reproduction.

Stereo - The speakers can be wired to deliver full stereo sound from a single loudspeaker, giving you great sound quality with only one unobtrusive round ceiling grille showing.

TriVector- Wired in this manner the unit delivers a diffuse upper midrange and high frequency sound that helps to create that involving surround sound that draws you into the action.

The ICTS 6.3 CMS features Carbon loaded mica/poly cones, rubber surrounds, high temperature voice coils, advanced computer optimized crossovers, gold plated heavy duty connectors, and simple rotating clamp mounting

Simply put, these innovative ceiling speakers make it possible to have spectacular sound in most any room in your home while allowing superior surround field creation when there's no way to place regular surround speakers on the walls.

10 CSB Subwoofer

The 10 CSB, utilizes a 10" super heavy-duty down-firing driver that really pumps out the bass. The cabinet is shaped to snug unobtrusively right into the corner, out of sight, but definitely not out of ear! Corner-mounting the sub actually reinforces the bass, in addition to hiding the sub. Plus, the cabinet is paintable, so it can really disappear in your room. The days of the "ugly box" sub are gone forever, the sound is superb—and no walls to cut!
